2016: After becoming a starter at defensive end in the 2015 postseason, took over the job for good and played in every game during his junior season... Recorded 38 tackles, with 22 solo and four for losses... Ranked fifth on the team with three sacks -- all in a four-game stretch from Sept. 24 to Oct. 15... Made a season-high six tackles on Oct. 15 against Eastern Oregon, and was credited with a quarterback hurry and a sack in the same contest... Named to the Academic All-Frontier Conference team for the second year in a row.

2015: Selected to the Academic All-Frontier Conference team... Second on the depth chart at defensive end until starting all four NAIA Championship Series games... Recorded 38 tackles (27 solo), including seven for losses, 2.5 sacks, and a season-high seven against Montana Tech on Nov. 7... Scored his first collegiate touchdown with a fumble recovery and seven-yard return on Oct. 31 against Rocky Mountain.

2014: Made three tackles as a true freshman at backup defensive line... Notched his first career sack in the season-opener, Aug. 30 at Menlo.

Personal: Born on Aug. 17, 1996 in Merced, Calif... Graduated in 2014 from Atwater High, where he was twice a first-team all-conference and all-area selection and as a senior voted the the top defensive lineman in the area... Lettered two years in track, posting personal bests of 158 feet in discus and 55 feet in the shot put... The son of Gloria Gonzales and Eric Gauger... Majoring in business.
