High School: Graduated in 2017 from Brawley Union High, where he was a four-year letterwinner and rushed for 41 touchdowns of 40-plus yards... As a senior, rushed for 2,098 yards (the second-highest single-season total in school history) on 11 yards per carry and 28 touchdowns... Was named the Imperial Valley Section's offensive player of the year and boosted the Wildcats to a league championship... A four-year member of the honor roll.

Personal: Born on Oct. 15, 1998 in Brawley, California... The son of Lisa Garcia and Juan Gutierrez; has two younger brothers, Branden and Camren, and a younger sister, Arriana... Intends to study pre-medicine.
