Prior to SOU: Attended Humboldt State University out of high school and redshirted the 2012 season... Transferred to Trinity International University (Ill.), where he started 19 games at defensive back during the 2013 and '14 seasons... Made 44 tackles as a freshman, and recorded 72 tackles (six for losses), four interceptions, four break-ups and eight deflections as a sophomore.

Personal: Born on Aug. 28, 1994... Graduated in 2012 from Turlock High, where he was an All-Central California Conference receiver... Mother's name is Karmela; older brother is Brayan... Majoring in health.
