Austin Brown

  • Title
    Offensive Coordinator
Austin Brown joined the Southern Oregon University football staff in 2021, and he was promoted to offensive coordinator following his first season with the Raiders.

Head coach Charlie Hall initially brought on Brown, who was previously an offensive graduate assistant at Oregon State, to become SOU's receivers coach and recruiting coordinator. His position group accounted for 18 of SOU's 25 touchdowns in 2021 and produced an All-Frontier Conference first-team selection in Bryce Goggin.

Brown was with the Beavers for three full seasons starting in 2018, working under receivers coach Kefense Hynson and assisting offensive coordinator Brian Lindgren with day-to-day operations. Prior to that stint he spent two years at another Pac-12 school, Colorado, as an offensive intern and recruiting assistant.

A product of Buffalo, S.D., Brown graduated in 2016 with a bachelor's degree in universal studies from Dickinson State (N.D.), where he was twice named an all-conference receiver for the Blue Hawks football team.
