Former Raider standout David Zauher joins the Southern Oregon football staff for the first time in 2016 as an assistant linebackers coach.
After transferring to SOU from Shasta College, Zauher starred at linebacker and led the Raiders in tackles during both the 2003 (65) and '04 (97) seasons while starting every game.
The native of Redding, Calif., attained a degree in business from SOU. Before recently moving to the Rogue Valley with his wife, Alisha, and son, Alijah, he was the defensive coordinator at Anderson High, just south of Redding.
