Prior to SOU: Attended and competed at Idaho State University out of high school and as a true freshman appeared in five games, recording two catches for 15 yards against Black Hills State on Sept. 8, 2012... Transferred to Sacramento City College, scoring five receiving touchdowns in 2014... Led his team to an East Bay Bowl championship with the game-tying and game-winning scores in the fourth quarter.

High School: A 2012 graduate of Sacramento Charter High, where he earned letters in football, basketball, baseball and volleyball and was named multiple years to the honor roll... Totaled 61 catches for 1,159 yards in two years as a receiver, earning all-conference accolades twice and offensive player-of-the-year recognition as a senior... Helped the Dragon basketball team to three San Joaquin Section championships and one state title.

Personal: Born on Dec. 6, 1993 in San Francisco... The son of Dytanya Benjamin and Jarrel Benjamin Jr.; has an older brother, Jarrel III, and a younger brother, Camren... Majoring in sociology.
