Prior to SOU: Played two seasons at Menlo College (Calif.) and transferred to SOU when the program folded following the 2014 season... Made five starts at linebacker as a sophomore and ranked fourth on the team with 47 tackles.

Personal: Born on Oct. 15, 1994 in Salem, Ore... Graduated in 2013 from South Salem High, where he was all-league three times in football and baseball and selected to the Les Schwab Bowl as a senior... The son of Anne Marie and Scott; has an older brother, Zach, and an older sister, Jordan (who was a decathlete at Cal State Northridge)... Majoring in communications.
