Prior to SOU: Competed at Mesa Community College in Mesa, Ariz., during the 2012 and '13 seasons... Transferred to Texas A&M Kingsville, where he was on the 2014 roster and did not play, but was on the Lone Star Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Personal: Born on Oct. 2, 1992 in Apple Valley, Calif... A 2011 graduate of Ashland High, where he was a three-year letterwinner at quarterback... As a senior for the Grizzlies, he totaled 2,800 yards of offense and 32 touchdowns, and on four occasions he had passing, rushing and receiving TDs in the same game on his was to a Les Schwab Bowl selection... A three-time all-conference selection at AHS in football, an all-state catcher in baseball, and a three-time state placer who won 110 career matches in wrestling ... The son of Regina and Michael (a former wrestler at Northern Arizona); has an older sister, Regina (who played water polo at Oregon State), and an older brother, Josh (who played football at Shasta College)... Majoring in business marketing.
