Biography

2016: Transitioned from running back to strong safety during spring practice, took over a starting job by the fourth week of the season, and ultimately earned All-Frontier Conference second-team recogntion... Ranked third on the team and first among members of the secondary with 68 tackles (20 solo), snagged two interceptions and forced a fumble... Collected his first career interception in a 10-tackle performance at Carroll on Sept. 24, and was named the Frontier's defensive player of the week after a win over College of Idaho on Oct. 1 in which he logged 11 tackles (10 solo) and broke up C of I's potential game-winning touchdown pass in the final seconds... Additionally an Academic All-Frontier team member.

2015: Was third on the team (and second among SOU tailbacks) with 446 rushing yards and 5.1 per carry... Scored five rushing TDs and also caught 14 passes for 117 yards and one TD... Had a career-best day on Oct. 31 at Rocky Mountain with 11 carries for 100 yards, two TDs and a long run of 37 yards... Totaled 19 carries for 84 yards and two TDs during the NAIA Championship Series... Had a career-long 41-yard reception on Sept. 19 at College of Idaho.

2014: Got carries in 14 of 15 games as a true freshman running back… Totaled 74 carries, 519 rushing yards and four rushing TDs, along with 19 catches for 157 yards and two receiving TDs… Established a career-high with 81 rushing yards on eight carries against Montana Western on Oct. 11, in the first game ever played on the new Raider Stadium field turf… Scored two touchdowns in his first career game Aug. 30 at Menlo and broke out for a career-long 50-yard TD run against College of Idaho (Sept. 20).

High School: Graduated in 2014 from Sherwood High, where he was the Oregon Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior... Averaged over 17 yards per carry, totaling 2,030 rushing yards and 31 touchdowns in leading the Bowmen to the OSAA Class 5A state championship game... Northwest Oregon Conference's offensive player of the year and a first-team all-state running back and defensive back.

Personal: Born on Jan. 16, 1996... The son of Kathi and Greg; has an older brother, Jake, who formerly played football at Pacific University... Majoring in health and pysical education.
