2016: The anchor of the defensive line, Woods started all 11 games at tackle and led all linemen with 42 tackles, 25 of which were solo... Also had four quarterback hurries, the second-most on the team, and two sacks... Logged a career-high 10 tackles on Oct. 15 against Eastern Oregon.

2015: Emerged as the Raiders' starting defensive tackle during his first year in the program, appearing in all 14 games and starting 12 of them, and landed on the All-Frontier Conference second team... Ranked second among Raider lineman with 55 tackles (31 solo) and led the team with 7.5 sacks for losses totaling 34 yards... Also blocked a team-high three kicks... Had a season-best eight tackles against Montana Tech on Nov. 7, and banked three sacks and a fumble recovery in the opening round of the NAIA Championship Series against Kansas Wesleyan on Nov. 21.

Prior to SOU: Attended and redshirted at Northern Arizona University out of high school in 2013... Played the 2014 season at American River College in Sacramento.

Personal: Born on Aug. 24, 1994 in Rocklin, Calif... A 2013 graduate of Rocklin High, where he was the Sierra Foothills League Lineman of the Year and first-team all-metro as a senior and all-section as a junior... Also a league and division champion in wrestling... Parents are Coleen and Joe; has one sister, Madeline... Majoring in health and physical education.
