Prior to SOU: Played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Butte College in Oroville, Calif... Recorded four sacks in nine games as a sophomore at Butte, and was also a standout thrower for the track and field team with personal bests of 48-3 1/2 in the shot put (he placed 9th at the Nor Cal Championships), 131-6 in the discus, and 133-2 in the hammer.
