2017: Started at outside linebacker for the third straight season and was a first-team All-Frontier Conference selection... Led the Raiders and ranked second among all Frontier players with 108 tackles, 10 of which went for losses and three of which were sacks... Had 10-plus tackles on four occasions, including a season-high 13 on Oct. 14 at Eastern Oregon... Was credited with nine pass break-ups, and had an interception on Sept. 9 against College of Idaho... Forced three fumbles and recovered two others... Totaled 20 tackles in three NAIA Championship Series games.

2016: Appeared in 10 games during his sophomore season, starting the final six of them at outside linebacker... Was third on the team in tackles with 74 (51 solo), tackles for losses with seven, and sacks with 3.5...  Had a career day on Oct. 15 against Eastern Oregon with 12 tackles, and two sacks... Went for 11 tackles on Oct. 29 at Montana Western, and the next week against MSU-Northern tacked on 11 more with 1.5 sacks.

2015: Started at No. 1 on the depth chart at outside linebacker as a true freshman and started SOU's first four games before suffering a season-ending injury... Totaled 27 tackles, including eight (all solo) in his collegiate debut on Sept. 5 at Carroll, a season-high 11 (six solo) on Sept. 19 at College of Idaho, and three sacks for losses totaling 15 yard on Sept. 26 against MSU-Northern.

Personal: Born on May 29, 1997 in Portland, Oregon... Graduated in 2015 from Central Catholic High, where he was an all-state performer for the Rams as they won OSAA Class 6A titles his junior and senior seasons... Also lettered in basketball (all-conference) and baseball... Parents are Traci Hambly and Shun Cooper; has a younger brother, Trent Hambly, and two younger sisters, Madison and Hannah Cooper... Majoring in business.
