2017: An Academic All-Cascade Conference selection... Appeared in 19 games and started 16 of them, totaling two goals and two assists with 20 shots and 11 on goal... Scored the game-winner in SOU's win at Northwest Christian on Sept. 17, and tallied the first goal in SOU's CCC tournament title-game win over Corban on Nov. 6.

2016: Named a second-team All-Cascade Conference midfielder as a sophomore... Appeared in 16 games and started 15... Recorded all six of his assists in conference play, ranking second in the CCC, and had one in three games in a row at one point... Scored his only goal on Oct. 28 against College of Idaho... Totaled 17 shots with five on goal.

2015: Honorable mention All-Cascade Conference as a true freshman... Scored four goals and five assists, ranking second on the team in points (13), while starting all 17 games... Deposited two goals and one assist in his collegiate debut, Aug. 26 at Sierra Nevada... Had two assists in the same game, Sept. 18 against Walla Walla, and had one goal and one assist the next day against Multnomah.

Personal: Born on Jan. 17, 1997 in Honolulu, Hawaii... A three-year letterwinner at Mountain View and a team captain as a senior… Played for the U-16 Portland Timbers Academy and was on the 2013 Olympic Development Program (ODP) regional team… Son of Irene Torres and Biniam Afenegus, the first head coach in SOU men's soccer history... Has a younger brother, Elijah, and a younger sister, Cierria... Majoring in environmental science and policy.
