2017: Selected to the All-Frontier Conference first team for the second year in a row at middle linebacker... Ranked second on the team and third in the Frontier with 104 tackles, totaling 3 1/2 sacks, four pass break-ups and four quarterback hurries...  Had a season-high 15 tackles to go with a forced fumble on Sept. 23 at Carroll... Recorded 25 tackles in the NAIA Championship Series, including 12 with two for losses in a quarterfinal win on Nov. 25 at Lindsey Wilson... Finished the year at No. 6 on SOU's career tackles list (299).

2016: Voted a first-team All-Frontier Conference performer for the first time... Led the team and ranked third in the conference in both total tackles (100) and tackles for losses (13)... Forced two fumbles, recovered one, and on Oct. 22 at College of Idaho brought in his only interception of the season... Established career-highs with 14 tackles and four for losses on Oct. 8 at Rocky Mountain, and the next week eclipsed those numbers with 19 tackles (17 solo), four for losses and a sack against Eastern Oregon.

2015: Emerged as SOU's starting middle-linebacker, starting 10 of the season's last 11 games as a redshirt-freshman... Was named SOU's Most Improved Player... Ranked second on the team with 95 tackles in 13 games, including five for losses and one sack and one fumble recovery... Earned Frontier Conference defensive player-of-the-week kudos after recording 11 tackles in an Oct. 10 overtime win at Montana Western, and made one of those during SOU's game-clinching goal-line stand... Led the team with 42 tackles in four postseason games, including career-highs of 13 apiece at second-ranked Baker in the NAIA quarterfinals and top-ranked Morningside in the semis. Also picked off his first career interception at Baker.

2014: Redshirted.

Personal: Born on July 4, 1994 in Salem, Ore... Graduated in 2013 from Sprague High, where he was a four-year letterman in football as a linebacker and running back and a three-year letterman in basketball... Two-time all-conference football player on both sides of the ball; rushed for 1,394 yards and scored 22 touchdowns as a senior... The son of Cindy and Ernie; has an older sister, Shaterma Rowles, and older brother, Adam Gage, and a younger brother, Bryce Gage... Majoring in business.
