Taylor Keenen

Taylor Keenen enters her second season as a graduate assistant softball coach for the Raiders in 2016 after being a part of the first season of the Jessica Pistole era.

Keenen, from Clovis, Calif., graduated from Clovis High and started her playing career as an outfielder at Fresno City College. From there, she was part of Pistole’s first recruiting class at William Jessup University and helped bring the Warriors a Cal Pac Conference title in the program’s first season of existence in 2011.

Keenen graduated with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and then worked as a social worker at a non-profit in El Dorado County for three years prior to arriving at SOU, where she is working on a master’s degree.

In her first season at SOU, the Raiders went 33-26 – recording a higher win total than the program had reached in any season since 2005.
