2016: A first-team All-Cascade Conference and NAIA All-West Region selection after making 52 starts at second base in her first season at SOU… Also the NAIA Golden Spike award-winner for leading the nation in stolen bases with 45 on 48 attempts, which also broke a school record… Batted .384 with 66 hits, eight doubles, five triples, 39 runs scored and a team-high 38 RBI… Batted .400 in 28 conference games, the ninth-best mark in the CCC, and also stole 29 bases without being caught… Struck out just twice in 192 plate appearances for the top strikeout-to-appearance ratio in the league… Strung together a school-record hitting streak of 18 games from Feb. 13 to March 26 during which she went 31-for-61 (.508)… Had 21 multi-hit games, including a team-high six three-hit games.

Prior to SOU: Played her first two seasons at College of San Mateo… A two-time All-CCCAA player who batted .461 as a freshman, and as a sophomore hit .435 with a .494 OBP, 17 extra-base hits, 29 stolen bases, 65 runs scored, 31 RBI and just eight strikeouts in 147 at-bats.

Personal: Born May 9, 1995… Graduated in 2013 from James Logan High in Union City, Calif… Mother is Lydia Villarreal… Majoring in psychology.
