Personal: Born on May 25, 1999 in Santa Cruz, California... Parents are Sonia Monasterio and Nathan Hopkins... Has a younger sister, Kaya... Majoring in health and physical education and is enrolled in the SOU Honors College.

Prior to SOU: Competed for two seasons at Fresno City College (Calif.), where she was a second-team all-conference selection and named a President Scholar Athlete in 2019... Started all 24 games as a sophomore and eight of 19 as a freshman on defense, also recording one goal and two assists... Helped Fresno win a conference title in 2018.

High School: Graduated in 2018 from Hanford West High School, where she was a first-team all-conference selection three years in a row... As a senior in track and field, placed 11th in the mile at the California Central Section Championships with a time of 5:22, and set the school 800-meter record with a time of 2:25.
