2023-24: A member of the Academic All-Cascade Conference team ... Maintained her reputation as one of the CCC's top defenders in her second season at SOU, playing all 33 games and starting 11 ... Averaged 4.6 points, 3.6 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.1 blocked shots ... Ranked sixth among CCC players in blocks and 11th in offensive rebounds (2.1) per game ... Posted season-highs of 16 points and six steals on Dec. 2 against Eastern Oregon, shooting 8-of-10 from the field in the win ... 2022-23: Was SOU’s top reserve in her first season with the team, appearing in all 32 games with averages of 6.5 points on 44-percent shooting, 2.8 rebounds and 1.1 steals … Ranked 13th among CCC players in blocked shots per game (0.7) … Scored in double figures nine times and recorded a season-high 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting against Eastern Oregon on Jan. 20 … Collected four steals on three different occasions and pulled down a season-high nine rebounds at Northwest on Feb. 3.

Prior to SOU: Attended and competed at Linfield College in 2021-22 ... Averaged 8.7 points, 4.6 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.3 steals, starting 15 of her 23 games played as a true freshman ... Shot 44% from the field ... Had a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds on Feb. 9 against Pacific Lutheran, and scored a season-high 15 against Oregon Tech on Nov. 8.

Personal: Born on May 20, 2003 in Medford, Oregon ... The daughter of Chris (a former SOU men's basketball player and assistant coach) and Kristi Schmerbach ... Has two younger sisters, Tatum (a basketball player at Oregon Tech) and Sara (who has committed to play at Santa Clara) ... Majoring in business management.

High School: Graduated in 2021 from South Medford High, where she was a two-time all-conference performer and led the Panthers to a state championship as a senior ... Was also a star runner at SMHS, setting school records in the 1,500, 3K, 5K, mile, two-mile and sprint medley ... Named the Southwest Conference Runner of the Year in 2017.
