Biography
2016: Named a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete and a member of the Academic All-Cascade Conference team... Became a primary defensive weapon on SOU's back line, which helped the Raiders win their first conference co-championship by allowing just two goals in conference play... Average 89 minutes played per game, ranking second on the team in that category... Helped SOU go 945 straight game minutes without allowing a goal.
2015: Earned Academic All-Cascade Conference honors... Appeared in eight matches and started four of them, logging 297 total minutes on defense... Made her first career start on Sept. 2 against Simpson, when she also registered her first shot on goal.
2014: Appeared in three games as a true freshman defender.
Personal: Born on Aug. 30, 1996... The daughter of Diana and Thomas Laird; has an older brother, Jon, who played football at Wabash College (Ind.)... Graduated in 2014 from Carondelet High... Majoring in English and writing.
