2022-23: Made his SOU debut on Nov. 13 at the Mike Clock Open and placed second at 197 pounds, going 3-1 with two pins ... Finished with a 4-3 record across two tournaments.
Prior to SOU: Competed at Southwestern Oregon Community College from 2018-20 and was an NJCAA Championships qualifier.
Personal: Born on June 7, 1999 in Albany, Oregon ... The son of Jaime Schaefer ... Currently working on a master's of arts in teaching.
High School: Graduated in 2017 from Central Linn High, where he won an OSAA Class 2A state title as a senior with a 40-3 record ... Also placed thrid in the state as a junior and went 35-6.
