2017-18: Posted a 9-13 record as a freshman… Went 3-2 with a pair of pins at the California Collegiate Open… Went 4-7 in dual action.
2016-17: Redshirted.
High School: Graduated in 2016 from Henry J Kaiser High, where he finished in third place or higher at six individual events, including first places finishes at the OIA and OIA East during his senior season... During the 2014-15 season, the Cougars placed eighth at states.. Left the Cougars as a three-time wrestling and football letterwinner and a one-time wrestling team captain.
Personal: Born on July 8, 1998 in Honolulu, Hawaii... Parents are Susan Hirano-Arakawa and William Arakawa; has one older sister, Noelle... Majoring in interdisciplinary studies.
