SOU-Evergreen Boxscore
The 20th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team won its 10th straight match tonight with a 25-11, 25-12, 25-14 over Evergreen State in an hour tonight at McNeal Pavilion.
With the victory, SOU is now 13-7 overall and 11-1 in Cascade Conference play. Evergreen dropped to 1-16 overall and 1-11 in conference play. The Raiders hit the road next week for their toughest road trip of the year, at Eastern Oregon (Friday) and College of Idaho (Saturday). Eastern Oregon handed SOU its only conference setback of the season and Eastern Oregon and College of Idaho are both tied for second behind SOU and Oregon Tech.
Senior
Mia Wortel (Estacada, Ore./Estacada) and freshman Kalista Harrison led the Raiders with eight kills each. Wortel finished with zero errors for an attack percentage of .667 and five blocks. Harrison, playing in her first action after breaking a finger, had just two errors and an attack percentage of .429.
Junior setter
Lindsey Stone (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) finished with 31 assists and sophomore libero
Maggie Rivers (Salem, Ore./McNary) finished with 10 digs.
As a team, the Raiders finished with 17 blocks in the match. SOU also finished with a .325 attack percentage, including hitting .571 in the second set.
Hailey Harris led Evergreen with eight kills.
