SOU-Warner Pacific Boxscore
Southern Oregon held Warner Pacific to a -.011 attack percentage and cruised to a 25-9, 25-10, 25-14 victory over the Knights tonight at McNeal Pavilion.
The Raiders are now 15-9 overall and 13-3 in Cascade Conference action. Warner Pacific fell to 6-12 overall and 4-12 in conference play.
SOU hosts Oregon Tech is a key conference matchup Tuesday night at 7 p.m.
Senior
Mia Wortel (Estacada, Ore./Estacada) led the Raiders with 12 kills and a .476 attack percentage.
Leah Bergstrom (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) had nine kills and
Sarah Holgen (Honolulu, Hawaii/Ashland) finished with eight kills.
Sophomore libero
Maggie Rivers (Salem, Ore./McNary) finished with 21 digs. Junior setter
Lindsey Stone (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) had 37 assists for the Raiders.
The Knights hung around in the third set, cutting the SOU lead to 15-11 on an attack error, but the Raiders were poised to put the match away in a hurry.
Sparked by a pair of Holgen kills, the Raiders finished off the match with a 10-3 run.
Holgen also added 13 digs for the Raiders.
Leah Gradwohl, Kara Veach and Megan Marineau all finished with four kills to lead Warner Pacific.
