TOC Team Standings 

Freshman Mitchell Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) led the Southern Oregon wrestling team at Thursday's Tournament of Champions in Reno, Nev.

Lofstedt was the lone Raider to finish in the top eight at the event that featured mostly NCAA Division I competition. SOU finished 24th out of 30 teams.

Lofstedt dropped his opening match to Cal State Bakersfield's Frank Lomas and then bounced back to win five straight matches before falling in the Consolation semifinals.

The four other wrestlers to compete for the Raiders were Trevor Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg), Barry Johnson (Dayton, Ore./Dayton), Seth Roy (Sherwood, Ore./Sherwood) and John Bates (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City). All four wrestlers posted 2-2 records.
