The Southern Oregon volleyball team continued its hot streak over Corban College with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-20 victory over the Cavaliers tonight at McNeal Pavilion.

The Raiders improved to .500 overall at 7-7 and 5-1 in Cascade Conference play. Corban fell to 3-3 in conference play and 5-6 overall. The victory sets up a huge showdown Tuesday night at 17th-ranked and first place Oregon Tech. The Raiders have now won four straight matches.

SOU has now defeated Corban 17 of 18 times dating back to the 2000 season.

All-Americans Mia Wortel (Estacada, Ore./Estacada) and Lindsey Stone (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) continued to come up huge for the Raiders. Wortel finished with 13 kills and just two errors and Stone finished with 35 assists.

On Friday night, Wortel went for 12 kills and just two errors and Stone had 43 assists.

SOU took their first lead at 7-6 on a Corban error and a kill by SOU's Sarah Holgen (Honolulu, Hawaii/Ashland) extended the lead 8-6 and the Raiders never looked back.
