The fifth-ranked Southern Oregon wrestling team came away with four individual titles at today's Cougar Open at Clackamas.
Trevor Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) (133 pounds),
Barry Johnson (Dayton, Ore./Dayton) (141),
Seth Roy (Sherwood, Ore./Sherwood) (149) and
Tommie Hooper (Burns, Ore./Burns) (157) all claimed titles for the Raiders.
Freshman
Mitchell Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) finished second at 125.
Trevor Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) and Johnson both used pins to march to the finals.
Trevor Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) had pins in both his opening match and semifinal match before knocking off unattached Oregon State wrestling Tyler Phillips in the finals 5-0.
Johnson used four straight pins before defeating Clackamas Community College's Kyle Wirkuty 3-1 in overtime.
The Raiders are now off until Jan. 29 when they travel to Pacific University.
