The 16th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team won its fifth straight match with a 25-19, 25-15, 28-18 sweep of arch-rival Oregon Tech tonight in Klamath Falls.

The Raiders improved to 14-2 overall and 8-1 in Cascade Conference play. Oregon Tech dropped to 4-13 overall and 3-6 in conference action.

Southern Oregon has won 12 straight over the Owls and 20 of the last 21 matchups.

Sophomore Sarah Holgen (Honolulu, Hawaii/Ashland) and junior Leah Bergstrom (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) were both perfect on the night. Holgen had nine kills and no errors, while Bergstrom finished with eight kills and no errors. Leanne Stennett (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito) had seven kills and 11 digs.

The victory sets up a titanic matchup next Friday with seventh-ranked College of Idaho in Ashland.
