The fourth-ranked Southern Oregon wrestling team went 1-2 Friday at Great Falls, Mont.

The Raiders dropped a 27-15 decision to second-ranked Missouri Valley, defeated 12th-ranked Dickinson State 29-9 and then fell to sixth-ranked Great Falls 27-16.

SOU was wrestling without three ranked wrestlers.

Top-ranked Mitchell Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) went 3-0 at 125 pounds for the Raiders, as John Bates (Oregon City, Ore./Oregon City) (285) and Kyle Wirkuty (Portland, Ore./Centennial) (141) also went undefeated.

Wirkuty defeated a pair of ranked wrestlers during the day.

SOU will compete in the Battle of the Rockies today.
