The Southern Oregon softball team will host the SOU Raider Invitational Thursday through Saturday at U.S. Cellular Community Park in Medford.

The tournament will feature Cascade Conference teams SOU, Concordia, Oregon Tech, NCAA Division III teams Pacific University and Puget Sound and NAIA powerhouses Concordia (Calif.) and Azusa Pacific.

The Raiders open up the tournament Thursday with a pair of games against Concordia (Calif.) starting at 3 p.m.

Friday and Saturday's games go at 10 a.m. and Noon.

All seven teams in the tournament come in with .500 or better records. Concorida (Ore.) is the lone unbeaten team with a 6-0 mark. Concordia (Calif.) is 12-4 on the season and Azusa Pacific is 6-4. Pacific and OIT are both 3-1 and Puget Sound (2-2) and SOU (1-1) are both at .500.

Following the tournament, SOU will host Simpson in a doubleheader Sunday afternoon in Medford starting at 1 p.m.
