Azusa Pacific's Camille Hundley held the Southern Oregon offense to four hits as the Cougars scored a 4-0 victory today during the final day of the SOU Raider Invitational at U.S. Cellular Community Park in Medford.

The Cougars are now 8-5 on the season and SOU fell to 2-5. Sunday's doubleheader with Simpson has been cancelled.

Southern Oregon started off the top of the first with a Strohm Fouty (Polson, Mont./Polson) single. But Meghan Laughlin (Honolulu, Hawaii/Mid-Pacific Institute)'s bunt attempt went straight in the air and the Cougars turned a double play to end SOU's threat.

In the bottom of the first, Natalie Michelson came through with an RBI double to put the Cougars on the board 1-0.

The Cougars put up single runs in the third, fourth and fifth innings, while the Raiders had trouble getting runners home.

SOU's biggest threat came in the top of the sixth. With Justine Fulton (Reno, Nev./McQueen) and Bailey Price (Napa, Calif./Vintage) on base, Hundley struck out Karla Alvarez (Modesto, Calif./Johansen) and Joelle Riekeman (Riddle, Ore./Riddle) to end the inning.

For the game, SOU left eight runners on base.

Fouty led SOU with a pair of hits and a stolen base. Fouty is batting .524 for the year and has seven stolen bases in seven attempts.

Laughlin added a triple for the Raiders and Fulton had the team's other hit.

SOU freshman pitcher Jordyn Kurtz (Tacoma, Wash./Stadium) scattered seven hits during the game and struck out five.
