Leah Bergstrom (West Linn, Ore./West Linn) and Chelsea Hartman (Lebanon, Ore./Lebanon) combined for 19 kills and only one error as the 18th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team cruised to a 25-18, 25-12, 25-16 victory over Evergreen State tonight at McNeal Pavilion.

The Raiders are now 11-2 overall and 5-1 in Cascade Conference play. Evergreen dropped to 1-12 overall and 1-4 in conference action.

Bergstrom finished with a match-high 10 kills and just one error. Hartman went for nine kills and no errors. Angela Spieker (Bremerton, Wash./Central Kitsap) had 18 assists and Caryn Westrick (Bonney Lake, Wash./Bonney Lake) finished with 12.

Defensively, the Raiders held Evergreen to a .000 attack percentage with 24 kills and 24 errors.

In the final set, the Raiders jumped out to a 7-3 lead and then cruised to victory, forcing the Geoducks into a -.115 attack percentage.

Southern Oregon travels to Northwest Christian and Corban next weekend.
