ASHLAND, ORE. -- The 17th-ranked Southern Oregon volleyball team came away with 20 blocks as they rolled to a 25-18, 25-13, 25-17 victory over Warner Pacific tonight at McNeal Pavilion.
The Raiders are now 15-3 overall and 12-1 in Cascade Conference play and travel to Oregon Tech next Friday. Warner Pacific fell to 4-12 overall and 2-10 in conference play.
Megan Bartling (Medford, Ore./North Medford),
Lauren Swetland (Cottonwood, Calif./West Valley) and
Leanne Stennett (Encinitas, Calif./San Dieguito) helped lead the block party for the Raiders.
Bartling finished with six blocks, while Swetland and Stennett both had four blocks.
The blocks forced the Knights into a dismal effort offensively. The Knights finished the match with a .086 attack percentage and had as many errors (10) as kills (10) in the second set.
Sarah Holgen (Honolulu, Hawaii/Ashland) led the offensive effort for the Raiders with a match-high 12 kills. Stennett had 11 kills and only one error to go along with 14 digs and Bartling had 10 kills and only one error.

Lindsey Stone (Ashland, Ore./Ashland) continued her brilliant play with 38 assists and two kills and two blocks.
Rachel Warick had 10 kills for Warner Pacific.
