Tyler Thomas (Salem, Ore./McKay) led four individual placers at today's Mike Clock Open held at Pacific University.
Thomas finished second at 184 pounds, falling in the title match.
Thomas scored a 1:30 pin of unattached Oregon State wrestler Brian Engdahl in 1:30 in the opening match of the day and then defeated unattached Oregon State wrestler Mitch Steed 4-3 in the semifinals.
In the championship match, Thomas met another unattached Oregon State wrestler, this time it was Taylor Meeks who scored a 12-3 victory to take the title.
Tommie Hooper (Burns, Ore./Burns) and
Robert Ross (Medford, Ore./North Medford) each came home with fourth place finishes.
Hooper, a junior, scored a pair of falls and a major decision victory to take fourth at 157.
Ross, a freshman, had three falls on his way to the fourth place finish at heavyweight.
Paulo Rocha (Golden, Colo./Illinois Valley) turned in a sixth place finish at 149.
SOU hosts Great Falls next Friday night in the small gym at McNeal Pavilion.
