Southern Oregon sophomore Mitchell Lofstedt (Roseburg, Ore./Roseburg) broke his late father Brent Lofstedt's single season pin record and helped the Raiders score a 43-3 victory over 10th-ranked Simon Fraser today at McNeal Pavilion.

The Raiders finish the regular season 15-7 and will wrestle at the NAIA West Qualifier on Feb. 20.

Lofstedt, ranked No. 1 at 125 pounds, broke the record with a 1:26 pin of Thomas Ostapowich and gave the Raiders an early 6-0 lead. Lofstedt is now 35-6 on the season with 21 pins.

Senior Barry Johnson (Dayton, Ore./Dayton) scored a pin 141 to push the lead to 16-0 and the rout was on.

Tommie Hooper (Burns, Ore./Burns) scored a 10-0 major decision victory at 165 and the Raiders scored forfeit victories at 197 and 285.

Brian Jacob (Tillamook, Ore./Tillamook) (133), Justin Mills (Lakeport, Calif./Clear Lake) (149) and Tomas Rosa (Sweet Home, Ore./Sweet Home) (157) also scored victories for the Raiders.
