Box Score ASHLAND -- A night after delivering payback to one of the Cascade Conference's top volleyball teams, Southern Oregon University found itself on the receiving end Saturday.

College of Idaho went down in the first set, 19-25, but rolled over the Raiders in the next three by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-18 at Bob Riehm Arena. Liz Myers was a force in the middle, accounting for four solo blocks and three assisted of the Coyotes' total of 14. She also had 11 kills to complement Emily Ottinger's match-best 21.

C of I (14-9 overall, 14-2 CCC) held Southern Oregon (15-8, 12-4) to a .182 attacking average. Mona Goudarzian (Albany, Ore./West Albany) piled up 17 kills and Paulla Pinheiro (Fortaleza, Brazil/Colegio Farias Brito) had 16 with nine digs for the Raiders, whose eight-match win streak came to an end.

SOU's upset of 10th-ranked Eastern Oregon on Friday helped the Coyotes move into a first-place tie with the Mountaineers in the CCC standings. With one weekend to go in the regular season, C of I's odds of winning an eighth straight conference title have improved dramatically.

And they had the middles to thank for that as they stopped the Raider attack from getting going as it did on Sept. 27 in Caldwell, Idaho, when SOU snapped C of I's 73-match home CCC win streak.

Kylee Nawahine contributions helped swing the tone of the match, too, as she chipped in 11 kills and 10 digs.

SOU libero Renee Yomtob (Boise, Idaho/Centennial) had a match-high 33 kills on the senior night for her, Goudarzian and Liz Madden (Manson, Wash./Manson). Setter Lauren McGowne (Coos Bay, Ore./Marshfield) tallied a match-high 45 assists.

The Raiders will wrap up the regular season next weekend in Portland at Warner Pacific and Concordia.
