GREAT FALLS, Mont. – In a dual complete with seven pins, the seventh-ranked Southern Oregon wrestling team was on the wrong end of too many of them Friday night in a 38-16 loss at No. 6 Great Falls.

Michael Ruiz (141 pounds), Ryan Martin (149), Chad Cebulski (157) and Shawn Lau won by fall consecutively for the Argos to dent the Raiders' 1-2 dual meet record. Kamron Jackson (184) threw in another pin before Dylan Lemery (197) and Sheldon Page (285) capped the night by claiming major decisions.

The Raiders got a major decision from Jacob Stigall (Hubbard, Ore./North Marion) (125) and a 2-minute, 50-second pin out of Trevor Hancock (Pendleton, Ore./Pendleton) to get things going before the night went south. Top-ranked Brock Gutches (Central Point, Ore./Crater) added his third win by fall in as many duals in 1:57 against Taylor Vaughn to give the Raiders the 174-pound win.

Great Falls bumped its dual record up to 2-1. The Argos started the night with a 24-13 exhibition win over Northwest Community College.

SOU wraps up the week Sunday at the Spokane (Wash.) Open before a four-week hiatus.
