COLLEGE PLACE, Wash.
– Southern Oregon won its fourth straight match and completed a season sweep Friday of the Walla Walla Wolves and won their fifth straight match in 25-18, 25-14, 25-20 decision.

Keeping momentum out of the Wolves' court, the Raiders (14-9 overall, 11-5 Cascade Conference) scored three or more consecutive points 10 times throughout the match and stepped up defensively, holding the Wolves to a .010 attacking percentage.

Emma Gasman connected for kills on 14 of 21 swings, while Taylor Ristvedt had 11 kills on 18 attacks for her most efficient match (.556) of the season. Lauren McGowne had 14 assists and two digs in just a set of action, and libero Ashlyn Flynn led the back row with 14 digs.

Hannah Bogatin (13 assists, five digs) and Natalie James (nine assists, three digs) stepped in for McGowne to share setting duties in the last two sets, leading the Raiders to attacking averages of .346 and .250 in the frames.

The Wolves (1-18, 0-15) have lost nine straight.

Maria Darling led the Wolves with seven kills and added six digs. Lauren Barlow and Carly Ursino contributed 10 digs apiece, and Morgan Doyle had six blocks.

SOU improved to 4-0 all-time against the Wolves. The Raiders have won 15 straight sets overall.
