Gabrielle Ewing scored the game's first goal in the 19th minute after recovering her own shot on goal that hit the crossbar. The Cavaliers tacked on when Kyra Radcliffe scored in the 54th minute and Kayla Braunthal in the 59th.

Lisa Elledge tallied SOU's lone goal via Maddy Spangler's long pass with a 12-yard shot in the 78th minute.
