ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon University football team will make the trip to Columbia, Ky., to face Lindsey Wilson College in Saturday's quarterfinal round of the NAIA Championship Series, and seats on the team's charter flight are available now.

The flight will depart from Rogue Valley International-Medford Airport early Friday morning and arrive at Nashville International Airport in Nashville, Tenn., approximately 135 miles outside of Columbia. It will return on the same path Saturday night. Those traveling with the team will be responsible for their own ground transportation, hotel accommodations and game tickets. The team will be staying at the Holiday Inn Express in Glasgow, Ky., which is about a 30-minute drive from Columbia.

Due to the high cost of the charter, the SOU Athletic Department is asking for a minimum donation of $800 per seat on the flight. Those not traveling are also welcome to make donations to help make the trip more affordable.

The deadline to sign up for the flight is noon Wednesday. Saturday's kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. local (CST) time.
