RENO, Nev. – Four Southern Oregon University men's wrestlers left the Reno Tournament of Champions with two wins apiece and the Raiders landed at 26th in the team standings Sunday in the 23rd annual event.

Nine Raiders in all contributed to team's total of 20.5 points, though 141-pounder Devin Poppen was the only one with two pins. Though he split four matches on the day, he took care of North Dakota State's Nico Colunga in 4:22 and Cal State Pueblo's Clay Archer in 3:00.

Andrew Ramirez (141 pounds), Chandler Michael (149) and Scottie Stockman (157) were the others to win twice. Ramirez was one win short of the quarterfinal round, starting his outing with a 9-6 decision over Umpqua's Kobe Olson and a 4-3 win against Fresno State's Emilio Saavedra. Losses by decision against Zach Barnes, 7-2, and North Carolina State's Will Clark, 6-3, knocked him out.
