ATHERTON, Calif.Devin Poppen had his way with the 141-pound bracket and Hunter Hodges and Scottie Stockman shared the 157-pound title lift Southern Oregon to a team championship on Saturday at the Menlo Invitational.

The Raiders edged San Francisco State by two points for the title with 128.5. Eighth-ranked Menlo was third with 120 points.

Poppen, the fourth-ranked 141-pounder in the NAIA, completed an undefeated week by going 4-0 on the day and running his season record to 15-4. After eking out an 8-7 decision over Zander Silva in the first round, he pinned his next two opponents, San Francisco State's Josh Villaflor (19 seconds) and Menlo's Devin Everk (3:24), and blanked S.F. State's Austin Solari in the final, 4-0. He was named the tournament's Outsanding Lightweight Wrestler.

Earlier on the Raiders' road trip, Poppen scored the dual-deciding bonus points at sixth-ranked Providence (Mont.) and defeated Montana State-Northern's seventh-ranked Matt Weber.

Hodges and Stockman were both perfect at 157 but didn't contest the final, finishing as co-champions. Stockman won by fall against Cal Poly's Killian Vendler (2:26) and Menlo's Kevin James (6:19), and by 17-1 technical fall against Menlo's Thomas Hamamjy. Hodges, ranked sixth in the NAIA, pinned both Menlo's Joshua Arrieta (3:54) and S.F. State's Mason Boutain (1:24). His semifinal opponent, Jacob Wright, defaulted with an injury.

Matt Peterson checked in with a second-place finish at 133. He notched a 9-8 quarterfinal win against Wyatt Cornelison and pinned Angelo Reyes in 6:34 in the semis, then fell 2:13 into the final against S.F. State's Nathan Cervantez.

C.J. McKinnis (174) and Andrew Ramirez (141) both won twice to secure fourth-place finishes – McKinnis by major decision and fall, and Ramirez with two decisions. McKinnis didn't contest his third-place match.

Micah Arakawa also had a successful outing at 165, pinning Simpson's Layten Briggs (1:28) and teammate Cody Stahl (1:56) before reaching the consolation semifinals with a 6-4 win over Brandon Dallavia.

At 197, Alejandro Sandoval only needed one win to place, taking a 6-4 decision against Willem DeBoer in his third-place match.
