Fall sports produce 23 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes

Southern Oregon University's fall sports teams produced 23 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athletes, the department's second-highest total ever for the fall season.

To earn the Daktronics-NAIA Scholar Athlete distinction, a student-athlete must be a junior or senior academically, have a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.5 and log at least one full year at their current institution.

The Raider volleyball team led the way with eight honorees, the women's soccer team had five, the men's soccer and football teams produced four each and the cross country teams had two.
