ASHLAND – Fans, students, staff and alumni are welcome to join Southern Oregon University's NAIA softball title celebration with a championship parade at 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The team will go through the SOU campus via Siskiyou Boulevard – starting at Mountain Avenue and ending at Lithia Motors Pavilion, where the celebration will conclude with a trophy presentation.

Those attending the parade are asked to assemble along Siskiyou in front of Churchill Hall and the Stevenson Union.

The Raiders completed their championship run Wednesday in Springfield, Mo., with an 8-3 defeat of Oklahoma City that capped a 52-8 season. It went down as SOU's first-ever national title in a women's sport.
