KLAMATH FALLS – Senior guard Mitchell Fink scored 24 of his 28 points in the second half and 12th-ranked Oregon Tech held on for an 82-78 win over No. 8 Southern Oregon on Tuesday at Danny Miles Court.
Fink, the two-time Cascade Conference Player of the Year, was limited to 9-of-24 shooting but had nine assists and came up big out of the gate after halftime, knocking down his first three 3-point attempts to push a 36-33 Owls lead into double figures. They led for the final 25 minutes of the night.
The Owls went to 20-6 overall and 10-6 in CCC play. The second-place Raiders remained two games up on them in the loss column at 20-6 and 14-4, and after a weekend off will conclude the regular season at home against Multnomah and Warner Pacific on Feb. 21-22.

A four-point play and another 3-pointer from Borich gave the Raiders life in the last minute. Down five with 10 seconds to go, the senior guard's final attempt from beyond the arc rimmed off.
