ASHLAND – Nick Lowrimore delivered a stunning 109th-minute golden goal and made Carroll (Mont.) a 2-1 winner over Southern Oregon in a Cascade Conference battle Saturday afternoon at Raider Stadium.

With 94 seconds left in the second and final extra session, Lowrimore took Jeronimo Lago Huerta's lead pass on a breakaway and fired a 10-yard shot that slotted into the bottom left corner. It made the Saints 3-5-2 overall and 3-3-2 in the CCC.

In the sixth minute, Lowrimore had assisted Lago Huerta to give them the early lead. It lasted until the 47th, when SOU's Luis Navarrete sent a cross from near the left corner that Adrian Villegas leapt to head in at the far post.

Villegas' goal was his fourth of the season. Lowrimore brought his total to four, too.

The Raiders dipped to to 9-2 overall and 5-2 in the conference and will be in fourth place entering next weekend's games at College of Idaho and Eastern Oregon.

They missed a handful of stellar chances in overtime, where they compiled a 10-2 advantage in shots. For the game they had 29 shots to Carroll's 13, but just seven were on goal to Carroll's eight. Lowrimore put five on target by himself.
