ROCKLIN, Calif. – Tara Othman and Emily Se won bracket championships Saturday at the Women's West Coast Invitational, leading third-ranked Southern Oregon to a team title.

The Raiders had 14 top-four placers, amassing 200 points to second-place Simon Fraser's 134 and third-place Colorado Mesa's 111. Bailey Dennis was a finalist at 170 pounds and six Raiders placed third: Macie Stewart (109), Carolina Johnson (116), Carolina Moreno (123), Desinee Lopez (130), Sienna Ramirez (155) and Karrah Smith (191).

The title was the second of the season for Othman, who stands as the NAIA's No. 4-ranked 116-pounder. She went 4-0 with a pair of technical falls, a 4-1 semifinal decision over teammate Glory Konecny, and a 14-6 decision over Colorado Mesa's Anja Tschohl in the title match. Konecny and Johnson were pitted against each other in the bracket's third-place match and settled on a forfeit win for Johnson.

Se is ranked No. 3 in the NAIA at 130 pounds but won the 136-pound title with four consecutive victories. Three of them were by fall, and she pinned Menlo's Louisa Schwab in 4:51 in the first-place match for her first tourney title.

Dennis went 3-1 with two pins and a technical fall. Simon Fraser's Emily Cue beat her in an 11-0 technical fall for the 170-pound championship.

Moreno contributed 21 team points and Smith added 20 ½. The former went 5-1 with five technical falls and the latter went 5-1 with four pins.
