TURLOCK, Calif. – The Southern Oregon University women's soccer team gave NCAA Division II opponent Stanislaus State (Calif.) a fight on Friday night but came up short, 1-0 at Warrior Stadium.

The game's lone goal was delivered by Rayana Plancarte in the 21st minute. Julia Cummings and Ilena Rivera were both credited with assists.

SOU keeper Ashlynn Hernandez kept the score there with three saves.

The Raiders were out-shot by a margin of 18-6. Sarah Mauk and Baylee Touey accounted for their two shots on goal, both saved by Amanda Leal.

The Warriors went to 2-1, and SOU dipped to 1-2-1.

The Raiders will wrap up their non-conference schedule on Sunday at UC Merced, kicking off at 12 p.m. The Bobcats will enter the match with a 1-1-1 record.
