TURLOCK, Calif. – The Southern Oregon University women's soccer team gave NCAA Division II opponent Stanislaus State (Calif.) a fight on Friday night but came up short, 1-0 at Warrior Stadium.
The game's lone goal was delivered by Rayana Plancarte in the 21st minute. Julia Cummings and Ilena Rivera were both credited with assists.

The Raiders were out-shot by a margin of 18-6.

Baylee Touey accounted for their two shots on goal, both saved by Amanda Leal.
The Warriors went to 2-1, and SOU dipped to 1-2-1.
The Raiders will wrap up their non-conference schedule on Sunday at UC Merced, kicking off at 12 p.m. The Bobcats will enter the match with a 1-1-1 record.
