ASHLAND – The Southern Oregon men's basketball team shot 69 percent in the second half to run away from Evergreen (Wash.) and bank a 96-84 win behind
Atmar Mundu's 23 points and
Josh Meyer's seventh double-double Saturday night at Lithia Motors Pavilion.
After trailing by five at halftime, the Raiders (13-10 overall, 10-5 Cascade Conference) outscored the Geoducks (3-16, 3-12) 57-40 in the second.
Mundu shot 6-of-8 from the field and 9-of-10 at the free-throw line and Meyer amassed 17 points, 15 rebounds and seven assists. Three more Raiders joined them in double figures:
Joe Juhala (14 points, 7 rebounds, 2 steals),

The Raiders landed at 59 percent from the field after turning in a 65-percent clip against Evergreen at the beginning of the month.
The Geoducks kept pace a little longer this time around thanks to Austin Curry and LaBrandon Price, who scored 23 points apiece. Price's 20 first-half points had them up 44-39 at the break.
SOU opened the second half with a 9-0 run to take control for good, eventually opening up a 14-point lead on
Jackson Smyth's 3-pointer at the 10-minute mark.
Smyth, a freshman guard, contributed a season-high nine points and
Elijah Jackson had five off the bench.
The Raiders finished with a season-high 28 assists on their 33 buckets.
They've won seven of their last nine overall and five straight at home. They're now alone in third place, two games ahead of Corban.
They'll visit Corban next Friday and Bushnell on Saturday, playing five of their final seven regular-season games on the road.
