WEST LINN – The No. 20-ranked Southern Oregon men's wrestling team won by fall in four of six contests to defeat Pacific 52-6 in a season-opening dual on Saturday afternoon.

Jordan Faifai (165 pounds), Alex Hernandez (174), Kabb Christensen (184) and Andrew Herrera (197) recorded pins consecutive to end the day for the Raiders. Greg Guzman (141) scored a 12-2 major decision for their other contested victory.

Four Raiders were awarded forfeit victories: Evan Potter (133), Michael Fear (149), Dylan Straley (157) and Antonio Garcia (285). Thomas Turner accounted for Pacific's points with a pin of Mikey Ladkani in the 125 bout.

The Raiders will be in action again on Sunday at Pacific's Mike Clock Open.
