ASHLAND – Riley Donovan was voted the Cascade Conference WVT Laboratory Softball Player of the Week and Cayla Williams collected the CCC Pitcher of the Week award after monster performances in Southern Oregon's four-game sweep of Warner Pacific.

Donovan, a senior catcher from Half Moon Bay, Calif., rose to the top of the NAIA leaderboards in both home runs (12) and RBIs (63) against the Knights. In Friday's doubleheader alone, she tied SOU's single-season home run record and became the first Raider ever to tally 10 RBIs in a CCC twin bill. Including Wednesday's split at No. 2-ranked Oregon Tech, she went 10-for-16 with 13 RBIs, eight runs scored, four extra-base hits and four walks over six games.

Williams, a junior right-hander from San Jose, Calif., threw a one-hit shutout on Friday and a two-hit shutout on Saturday against the Knights, both in five innings, to improve to 10-2. She also registered her fourth save in Wednesday's Game 2 win at OIT. She posted a 2.40 ERA with 10 strikeouts and seven walks over 11 2/3 innings on the week.

The Raiders (34-10 overall, 15-6 CCC) host Carroll (Mont.) in a four-game set this week. Pending weather-related changes, it is scheduled for Thursday and Friday at University Field.
